West Hollywood Breakfast Company Opens October 26

During the soft opening, 100% of all food and beverage sales (including alcohol) will be donated to Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that “nourishes the health and spirit of vulnerable people facing critical and life-threatening illness, by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care and dignity.”
West Hollywood is the third Breakfast Company location under the Rise & Shine Hospitality Group. Its first location opened in Gaslamp Quarter in December 2019. The second location in Mission Valley opened in July 2023.
Rise & Shine also has 14 Breakfast Republic restaurants, including locations in Costa Mesa, Culver City, Echo Park, Irvine, and Long Beach. Other concepts within Rise & Shine are 6th & G (Downtown), Feast & Fairway (Coronado), Fig Tree Café (two San Diego locations), and Ox Coffee (Mission Valley).
To attend the soft opening, reservations are required and can be made by filling out one of the following two forms with respect to the guest’s desired date: Saturday, October 25 or Sunday, October 26. Guests may also email events@riseandshinerg.com to reserve their spot. West Hollywood Breakfast Company will hold its grand opening on Monday, October 27. Regular hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., seven days a week. The restaurant seats 115, with 60 indoor seats and 55 seats on a covered patio.
“We can’t wait to serve our sweet, savory, and unique dishes in a comfortable, yet elegant space,” said Rise & Shine Hospitality Founder and CEO Johan Engman. “When the sun rises over Santa Monica Boulevard, we hope all Angelenos and visitors to the City of Angels will start their day with us.”
WHBC menu highlights comforting breakfast and brunch favorites, including the Chilaquiles Suizos, Fried Rice Bennie, Cali Burrito, Japanese Spicy Chicken Sando, and Sweet Chili Shrimp & Grits. All eggs are sourced from Vital Farms, where each hen is pasture-raised with at least 108 square feet of space.
Waffle options include S’mores, Orange Thyme, and Buttermilk Cornmeal, while pancake flavors feature Banana Bread and Tiramisu. French toast selections include Churro, Peach Almond, and Crème Brûlée. The Breakfast Co. Flight allows guests to mix and match any three waffles, French toasts, and pancakes.
Gluten-free pancakes and vegan options – such as the Vegan Benedict, Vegan Breakfast Sammie, and Seven Grain Bowl – are also available.
The drink menu features Bloody Marys, bubbles, and breakfast cocktails, including:
*Rise & Shine (vodka, lime juice, orange juice, bitters, ginger beer)
*Wake Up (coffee whiskey, vanilla, chocolate oat milk, cold brew coffee)
*Breakfast Shot (Irish whiskey, orange juice, butterscotch liquor, bacon)
Coffee service includes nitro cold brew, lattes, and matcha.
