About the Author

Maria Desiderata Montana is a writer and photographer, and the author of several successful San Diego food books. She owned and published the food blog, San Diego Food Finds, and was a contributing food journalist for the San Diego Union-Tribune, where she had her own monthly recipe column. She has also been widely published in various newspapers and magazines, where she has written a wide variety of food and entertainment stories. She has guest appeared on local radio and TV to share her knowledge of food and cooking, and regularly assists celebrity and high-profile chefs with cookbook projects.
