Duck Dive, in Pacific Beach, is inviting you to get in the spirit of Halloween with Harry Potter Trivia Night, on Wednesday, October 29th! Trivia begins at 8:00pm, and participants can enjoy magical concoctions inspired by the Wizarding World throughout the evening. To secure your spot for Harry Potter Trivia Night, teams must call to make reservations after buying tickets, which can be purchased by clicking here. Calling all ghost and ghouls! On Friday, October 31st join The Gaslamp’s barleymash for barleymash Raveyard Halloween Haunt. Beginning at 9:30pm, enjoy DJs, EDM dance tunes, a costume contest and giveaways, along with specialty cocktails like Midnight Margarita, made with Teremana Blanco, coconut, pineapple, and a black salt rim, Spooky Season with Teremana Reposado, Orange Spiced tea, lemon, and agave, and Dark Matter, created with Teremana Blanco, espresso, sugar, and cream top. La Mesa Village “beercade” Coin Haus will host Scary Movie Trivia on Wednesday October 29 at 7:00 pm. No entry fee is required, and prizes will be given out to the first and second-place teams. North Park’s The Original 40 Brewing Company is showing a double feature of Halloween movies on Thursday, October 30. First, it’s Hocus Pocus at 7:00 p.m. Then it’s Scream at 9:00 p.m. The event will include a costume contest (judging at 8:45 p.m.) and raffle prizes throughout the night. Gear up for Halloween throughout October with Spooky Movie Nights at Mavericks Beach Club. Each Tuesday, join the beach bar at 6:30pm to watch some spooky season favorites - October 7 is Hocus Pocus, October 14 is Halloweentown, October 21 is Twitches, and October 28 is Scary Movie.
