Taste of North Park, powered by the Walkabout.app, returns on Saturday, October 4. The 14th annual event features more than 50 food tastings and drink stops, along with indie boutiques, local makers, live music, and pop-up art installations from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50.00 for food only and $65.00 for food and sips. There also is a Shareable Sip Ticket for $85.00, which is good for one food tasting to be shared and two tasting cups for drinks. All ticket options can be purchased here, and the event sells out every year.

Participating businesses include Finca, a wine bar and bottle shop that opened last year and was recently named to Wine Spectator Magazine’s international list of its Editors’ Favorite Wine Bars. Other participants include Between Us, Sisters Pizza, Jeni's Ice Cream, Bivouac Ciderworks, North Park Beer Company, and Suntide Mimosas.

For the first time, Taste of North Park goers can use Walkabout.app, a hyper-local community tool designed to connect neighbors with small businesses. Through the app, attendees are able to digitally map out their tasting routes, unlock insider after-parties and exclusive experiences, and get real-time updates on food, drink, live music, and pop-up activations. The technology allows participants to customize their tasting journey while enjoying the best of what North Park has to offer.

Participants can pick up their punch cards at any one of five check-in locations beginning at 10:30 a.m. – bluefoot bar & lounge (3404 30th Street), Louisiana Purchase (2305 University Ave), The Original 40 Brewing Company (3117 University Avenue), Thai Time (4102 30th Street), or Walkabout Union Cowork (3919 30th Street). The event is for all ages; however, to participate in alcoholic beverage tastings guests must be 21+.

Parking is available in the North Park Garage (350 spaces) at 3829 29th Street. The event is accessible by MTS bus lines 2, 6, 7, and 10.
