La Mesa Village “beercade” Coin Haus will host Magic the Gathering Commander Booster Tutor on Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee is $20, and the price includes a $15 drink/arcade game card and a Magic Booster pack. Guests can either bring their own Commander decks or pick up a preconstructed one upon arrival. The Original 40 Brewing Company is offering $5.00 beers on Saturdays to any guest who rides their bicycle to the North Park brewpub. The offer is good all day for any beer on the draft menu, and doors open at 11:30 a.m. Selections include Baja Soul Mexican Lager on the lighter side, Juice Maze Hazy IPA, and Go Fast Turn Left hoppy pale ale, which was made in partnership with track cycling association San Diego Velodrome. 3117 University Avenue
