The tables are set for San Diego Restaurant Week, September 14-21. Oceana Coastal Kitchen at the Catamaran is offering a three-course, prix fixe dinners paired with stunning views of Mission Bay – a perfect opportunity to sample exceptional local cuisine while on holiday. Appetizers include choice of roasted squash soup, beet carpaccio or maple bourbon pork belly. For entrées, diners can choose from flat iron steak, sustainable salmon, Catalina sea bass or Daal Ragu, with a mouthwatering dessert to topoff the meal. The cost is $50 per person. Gourmands can also indulge this fall at Chef’s Table, a new 4-course tasting menu at Oceana Coastal Kitchen. Curated by Executive Chef Bryan Stuppy and Chef de Cuisine Alex Miranda, the intimate dinner features the finest in-season seafood, meat, and produce with each course expertly paired with pours from a highlighted winery or brewery. The dates for this premier dining series are September 12 (featuring Pure Project Brewery), September 26 (feat. Duckhorn Vineyards), October 10 (feat. DAOU Vineyards), and October 24 (feat. house-made craft cocktails). 

Raise your glass at the Artisan Table Signature Wine Dinner at The Lodge at Torrey Pines on September 18, featuring an expertly crafted communal meal of seasonal bounty paired with one of California’s finest wineries, Patrimony Wines. Set on the spacious terrace of A.R. Valentien, guests can mingle with awinery representative who will share insight on the distinctive wine selections and their winemaking process.

Experience the thrill of the grill at Playing with Fire, where the culinary team at The Grill at Torrey Pines pairs up with some of San Diego’s finest chefs to present delicious woodfired dishes, complemented with local brews. The evening begins at a pre-party (6:30-8:30 p.m.) at Bahia’s Beach and Boat Club on the bay, featuring freshly grilled street tacos and specialty cocktails for purchase, a live mariachi band, and complimentary face painting. The cruise (9:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.) will feature a welcome Aqua Loca cocktail, two DJs, photo booth, and late-night bites like mummy mac and cheese, los muertos TJ dogs, caramel apples from the crypt, and more. Fall Flicks

Taking advantage of San Diego’s mild autumn weather, the Catamaran Resort hosts complimentary outdoor, family-friendly Movies on the Bay for guests every Friday night at sunset (September 5- October 31), with a backdrop of Mission Bay.
